Cheryl Bachelder

Cheryl Bachelder was appointed to the board in July 2006. She is the CEO and president of AFC Enterprises, the parent company of Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits. She also serves on the company's board.

Bachelder began her career in brand management in 1978 with Procter & Gamble and later joined The Gillette Company, in 1981. In 1984, she continued her career in marketing and product development with RJR Nabisco, where she ascended to the rank of general manager of the LifeSavers Division. From 1992 to 1994, Bachelder consulted for with The Keebler Company, leading new product development projects. She joined Domino's Pizza in 1995 as vice president of marketing and product development. From 2000 to 2003, she served as president and chief concept officer of KFC, a restaurant division of Yum! Brands, Inc.

Bachelder holds both a bachelor's degree and master of business administration from Indiana University.
