A New Look for Campbellsport True Value

May 24, 2018
From April 12-16, Chris and Barb Schanen held a grand reopening for their newly remodeled store, Campbellsport True Value of Campbellsport, Wisconsin. It was a true family affair, as Chris’s sister Sue Perry and brother-in-law Brian (owners of Mayville True Value) played a key role in planning and completing the project, along with Mayville store manager Dave Westphal.

In fact, Mayville True Value’s successful 2016 DTV remodel inspired the Schanens to take the leap with Campbellsport, as sales and customer feedback were exceptional. “This was a lot of work, but the results of the remodel were more than we expected,” Chris observes.

Campbellsport True Value’s new space consists of 11,232 sq. ft. for customary True Value products, 536 sq. ft, for rental, and 2,011 sq. ft. for giftware. The owners decided which departments to eliminate and expand after completing a significant review. Although they had strong Craft and Live Pet areas, declining sales motivated them to reallocate space to growing departments such as Gifts, Lawn & Garden, Paint and Outdoor Living. So far, response to the store’s new look has been outstanding. In addition to the new Inspiration Realized Paint Center, which really sets the tone, customers love the openness of the layout and the chance to discover new items.

Members from the local Chamber of Commerce attended a preopening Meet & Greet and ribbon cutting, followed by free food, giveaways, and several drawings for free goods and prizes.

Congratulations to the Schanens and the Campbellsport True Value family!
