After Four Decades, Hardware Has a Home in Greenwood, Wisconsin

September 21, 2018
For the first time in 40 years, the town of Greenwood, Wisconsin, has a hardware store! Owners Dan and Jessica Wolf recently launched their first retail venture in a former grocery store that lay vacant for a year. Packed with 8,000 sq. ft. of new products, Wolf's True Value is making an impression with its paint carousel and stunning Outdoor Living and Lawn & Garden sections. Plus, residents are thrilled to have a local hardware destination that doesn’t require driving 30-60 minutes to get what they need.

Following a ribbon cutting on June 14 with guests from the Chamber of Commerce, County Economic Development and City Council, Wolf's True Value hosted a three-day grand opening with giveaway prizes that included a Weber grill, power washer, lawn mower, bird feeders, and Green Bay Packers paraphernalia. Customers also enjoyed a hot dog fundraiser courtesy of the local National Honor Society, a bake sale, a kids’ bouncy house, petting zoo, and ice cream social throughout the weekend.
“I’m so glad I went to Spring Reunion,” Dan marvels. “I was so impressed by the assortments and variety of vendors. I know I made the right decision joining with True Value to bring the best products and the best prices home.”
Congratulations to Dan and Jessica and the Wolf's True Value team!
