CHICAGO, Jan. 7, 2015 – True Value Company, one of the world’s largest hardware cooperatives, today announced the appointment of Lars Hybel to vice president, International, effective Jan. 12, 2015.
Hybel has a wealth of experience leading multinational and global teams, having worked for more than 15 years at Electrolux. Since 1999, he has held a number of international leadership roles in small appliances and homecare products, including an assignment at the global head-office in Stockholm, Sweden. Most recently, he was vice president and general manager, global business unit, Electrolux Central Vacuum Systems, leading the transition of three regional operations to a global matrix organization, and successfully coordinating the first mass-channel entry in Canada, driving significant market share gain.
Prior to joining Electrolux, Hybel held various international positions for Newell Rubbermaid, Federal Signal Corp. and Fujisawa Pharmaceutical Company.
