TRUE VALUE NEONIC PESTICIDES COMPANY STATEMENT

In May of 2015, we announced that as additional, suitable alternatives become commercially available we will phase out the sale of products we carry that contain neonic pesticides by spring of 2018. We are also collaborating with our grower partners to encourage the removal of neonics from their plants. These measures will enable us to continue to provide our Retailers and consumers with safe, environmentally responsible products.
All products that True Value currently sells meet or exceed government regulations. We are pleased to offer alternative pesticides for our retailers that do not contain neonicotinoids from manufacturers such as Bonide, Dr. Earth, Ecosmart, Espoma, Scotts and Woodstream/Safer. Many of these products are organic and/or natural and safely control insects.
