Magazine True Value Hardware & Farm Starts a New Chapter

April 19, 2018
On March 23, Magazine True Value Hardware & Farm of Magazine, Arkansas, held a grand opening. New owners Albert and Aimee Littleton’s first True Value store is a DTV facility spanning 7,600 retail sq. ft. in a 10,000 sq. ft. building plus a 10,000 sq. ft. lumber shed. This business opportunity arose when an old-style mercantile store closed and the previous owner suggested that Albert pursue True Value.

“We are proud to carry on that history in an iconic location and especially proud to have partnered with True Value,” Albert explains. “Knowledge of the retail business has been a challenge, but we have done well with help and advice from our retail consultant Mark O’Neal. True Value has really held our hand and given sound advice while still letting us be the owners. We are exceptionally proud of our store and look forward to serving our community and having a long relationship with True Value.”

RM Steve Brookhart, RC Mark O’Neal and retail paint specialist Ricky Rinaudo attended the celebration on behalf of True Value, joining the mayor, county sheriff and local business owners. The store held hourly giveaways and grand prize drawings for items including a lawn mower, pressure washer and Weber grill. Both days yielded great turnouts and the paint BOGO sale was a huge hit.

Congratulations to the Magazine True Value Hardware & Farm team!
