Norick’s True Value Boosts Oklahoma City Community

April 05, 2018
From March 23-25, Norick’s True Value of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, partnered with the Children’s Hospital Foundation for a memorable grand opening. Former NASCAR driver Lance Norick’s first store is a DTV facility with 11,800 sq. ft. of retail space, praised by customers for its bright, clean and well-stocked atmosphere. Opening weekend highlights included a 20% off bucket sale benefiting the local children’s hospital, a paint BOGO sale and a special visit from Lance’s race car.

Lance approached the challenge of opening a brand new store as an adventure, turning any potential negatives into positives and welcoming the future. He advises fellow retailers to plan for success, take it one moment at a time and push forward. He also recommends developing a good checklist before the grand opening, to ensure all areas are covered and all vendors are set up.

Serving the community comes naturally to this retailer, as his father Ron is a three-term mayor. Inspired by his father’s example of giving back, Lance saw the need for a good hardware store and made it happen. So far, he’s seen success introducing Green Mountain Pellet Grills and a new line of patio furniture. Aside from its variety of high-end products, the store prides itself on excellent customer service and is poised to offer a wealth of DIY solutions to the Oklahoma City metro area.

Congratulations to the Norick’s True Value team!
